Two Billings-based Businesses to Be Recognized at BBBSYC Gala

Desert Mountain Broadcasting and Scarity Haunted House are being honored by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yellowstone County for their ongoing support of youth mentoring.

"The BIG Event,” the annual fundraising gala for Big Brothers Big Sisters, being held Saturday, February 11, 2023, will recognize these two businesses for tremendous leadership in their professional lives and an unwavering commitment to making a difference in our youth through philanthropic contributions and community service. Scarity Haunted House will receive the BBBS Legacy Award, and Desert Mountain Broadcasting will receive the BBBS Advocacy Award. In addition, two Match of the Year awards will be presented to a community Big and Little, and a high school Big and Little, during the gala.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yellowstone County makes meaningful, monitored matches between volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adults, throughout Yellowstone County. The programs, which are offered fee-free to all participants, receive a third of their revenue from the funds raised by the BIG event gala. Tickets and sponsorships are available for purchase at www.bbbsyc.org/gala.
