A Yellowstone County Story

(names have been changed)

Josh is one of 7 children in his family.  He has medical conditions that frequently require him to be hospitalized.  His parents are stretched thin, so his Big Couple, Shawn & Jenny, often help out.  They sit next to him in the hospital when he's sick, read to him, watch television, and just keep him company.  When he's well, they make sure to do lots of fun and active things.  One day, when Jenny picked him up after school, he came running outside juggling his backpack and coat, shoelaces untied. When he got in the car, he looked up at Jenny and said, "Thanks again for being my Big Couple. I'm really glad I picked you!"
